Wine estate of 6 hectares located in the town of Chassagne-Montrachet with vineyards on the appellations Saint Aubin, Chassagne-Montrachet and Meursault.
Pierre Yves Colin, member of the family estate Marc Colin and son in Saint Aubin between 1995 and 2005, decided to create a small grape purchase structure in 2001 with his wife Caroline Morey. This is how the wines of Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey are born with the 2001 vintage for a total of about 1,700 bottles. The years passed and Pierre Yves decided to take his independence in October 2005. Part of the vineyards of the family vineyard were then attributed to him and therefore is created the Pierre-Yves Colin-Morey estate with a farm of 6 hectares. The first vintage is 2006. The wines of the new domain are then added to the range of wines from purchases of grapes. Today the house produces about 70,000 bottles from 2/3 of the estate and 1/3 of purchases of grapes.
Our philosophy is to respect as much as possible our soils and our soils, therefore the soils are worked, no chemical weeding, reasoned fight with regard to the protection of the vineyard.
The wines are raised in barrels of 350 liters between 1 year and 18 months without interventions during this breeding.
