Collection: DOMAINE FRANCOIS MIKULSKI

Francois's farther, Lieutenant Mieczyslaw Mikulski, escaped from Poland in 1939, fleeing to England, this is where Francois met his future wife, a Burgundian woman who was working on an English army base. Over the many years to come, Francois spent many summers in Burgundy where he fell in love with the agrarian lifestyle and become determined to make wine for himself one day. Francois now works hand and hand with his Marie-Pierre and is enjoying the agrarian lifestyle he dreamed of.

In 1992, Francois inherited his first plot of Meursault, since then he has pursued his passion to produce wines with an authenticity, purity and elegance. His focus has always been to take extra care and attention to maintain a biological balance in the vineyard. In the cellar he has paid special attention to the terrior to ensure he is able to showcase the best of Meursault. To do this François uses 100% natural yeast and only 20-30% new oak to ensure he doesn’t mask the wine but let’s the purity shine through.
