Collection: Domaine Jean Tardy & Fils

The Tardy family originates from Flagey-Echézeaux, near Vosne-Romanée, and has been rooted in Burgundy’s winemaking tradition for over a century. In 1920, Victor Tardy began working at Domaine Camuzet, later becoming a sharecropper in 1945 under Etienne Camuzet. His son, Jean Tardy, continued the legacy from 1966, cultivating prestigious vineyards including Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru and Clos Vougeot Grand Cru through a long-standing partnership with Domaine Méo-Camuzet.

Beginning in 1981, Jean steadily expanded the estate, acquiring vineyards across notable appellations such as Chambolle-Musigny, Vosne-Romanée, Gevrey-Chambertin, and Echézeaux Grand Cru, building a diverse and respected portfolio.

In 1997, the next generation joined the domaine when Guillaume Tardy returned after studying viticulture and oenology in Beaune and Dijon, and gaining international experience in Australia. By 2001, he was leading winemaking, and in 2003, he assumed full leadership of the estate.

Today, Guillaume Tardy continues to guide the domaine, blending traditional expertise with modern techniques to craft wines that reflect both heritage and innovation.
