Fief de Chaintre is Jean-Baptiste’s top Muscadet cuvée made from his best plot of 65 year old vines. The wine is fermented in concrete vessels and aged with the lees to add creaminess and texture. The wine shows notes of white flowers and orchard fruit with leesy dough notes and chalky mineral characters on the finish. It is showing fresh and fruity now, but will also become even more harmonious with a few years of age.
